Committee Members

Wendy Jolliff
Committee Chair

Miss Jolliff grew up in the mountains of northwest Montana. As a youth, she spent her summers camping and winters running a dog sled team. While never a Scout as a youth, she became an adult Scouter as soon as her oldest child could join the program. She has over a decade of Scouting experience between Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, and Venturing.

Miss Jolliff was the founding Scoutmaster for the Girl Troop, Troop 254G. Today, she serves as an Assistant Scoutmaster for both Troop 254B and Troop 254G, as well as the Committee Chair for the Venturing Crew. Additionally, she has held the roles of Committee Chair for Troop and held every Cub Scout Den Leader position
.
Finally, Miss Jolliff believes that every youth should have the opportunity to participate in Scouting. As part of the Scout Law, a youth learns that “A Scout is Thrifty.” She works closely with the Committee to ensure fundraising opportunities are available so Scouts can earn their way. As part of her Wood Badge Ticket goals, she created a clothing closet. As part of being learning to be thrifty, Scouts are encouraged to donate their out-grown Scouting uniforms and gear to the clothing closet in order to help Scouts who may not be able to afford these items.

Jessica May
New Member Coordinator

Mrs. May joined Troop 254 in 2011 and has been involved on the Committee since 2012. She has served as a new parent mentor and currently serves as the Youth Protection Training (YPT) Champion, Adult Training Coordinator, and Archery Instructor. She believes that our scouts deserve trained leaders and is passionate about helping adults find the training they need to deliver a quality scouting experience.

Deb Latham
Committee Member

Ms. Latham joined Toop 254 with her son in 2017, after serving as a leader in Pack 387 for several years. She has held many hats with the troop including Committee Chair (currently), Advancement, Secretary, Outdoor Activities Cordinator and Coffee Crew Patrol Leader.

Recently, they have also joined Crew 254, where Ms. Latham serves as a committee member.

Ms. Latham believes in the scout program, and has seen first hand the lessons the youth are learning.
